Bhakti Yoga: Reality and Illusion. Saturday Aug 12th. 6 to 8p.m

Bhagavad Gita

Reality and Illusion

On our search for the truth, the first thing to consider is to what is real and what it is not, or an illusion. Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita explains that are two sets of energies: spiritual and material. One is eternal and later is temporary. Just like in a dream, while you’re dreaming it’s real, but when you wake up you know it was not, just a temporary mental creation. The same way, as we awaken from the material consciousness to the spiritual consciousness, we will realize the real and the illusion, without doubts, as all will become as clear as waking up from a dream.
